Astronomers Detect Water Vapor in Atmosphere of Nearby Exoplanet

Exoplanet observation

Astronomers have detected water vapor in the atmosphere of a nearby exoplanet, marking a significant step in the search for habitable worlds.

"This is one of the strongest indicators of potential habitability," said Dr. Laura Chen.

Using advanced spectroscopy, scientists identified a hydrogen-rich atmosphere containing measurable water vapor.

"Spectroscopy is allowing us to decode distant worlds like never before," added Dr. Raj Patel.

This discovery strengthens the possibility of life beyond Earth.
