Scientists have successfully mapped a complete neural connectome of a mammalian brain region at nanometer resolution.
"This is like having a wiring diagram of the brain," said Dr. Emily Carter.
The study mapped tens of thousands of neurons and millions of synaptic connections.
"Understanding these connections is key to unlocking neurological diseases," added Dr. Noah Stein.
